Prior to any technical
assessment a member of our network security team evaluates the
managerial and operational aspects of the entire enterprise. A Security
Assessment Agreement depicting, evaluation points, access types and
indemnification is generated and executed. Once an understanding of the
current security practices is achieved, our security team utilizes SpectraSecure’s
custom in-house tools to scan all ingress and egress points of your
network. We have one of the most comprehensive databases of threats,
vulnerabilities and counter-measures that exist today. Our customized
tools are based on the tools that hackers use and are constantly being
updated to keep up with the rapidly evolving threats that are emerging.
The centerpiece of our analysis tools is SMART.
SMART (Security Metrics And Reporting Tool) itemizes the possible vulnerabilities that can be discovered from all ingress and egress points. |
| Analysis |
After
the inspection we begin to focus on network architecture and system
discovery. Our security team rates the potential security breaches
according to the impact it can have on your business workflow. These
ratings help our security experts to design solutions that can be
implemented cost effectively. Then, a high level inventory of critical
systems is conducted to determine types of operating systems and the
number of similarly configured hosts. |
| Solution |
| Our solutions are formulated by a team of experts with years of experience in network security, networking and systems analysis. Most members of the SpectraSecure team are CISSP/SSCP. After reviewing the Security Assessments, the most cost effective way to implement a solid security solution without impacting your business workflow is recommended. Our recommended corrective procedures are all "best practice" approaches while identifying all procedural and technical implications. SpectraSecure also provides you with the before and after (the Report Card) security posture assessment that allows you to easily evaluate the results of the security hardening process. |
